Kitchens and Baths

Lucky Medway homeowners had DH Carpentry remodel the kitchen.  They were able to keep their nice cabinets, while getting new flooring, electrical wiring, a ceiling fan and lighting.  Dana also removed a wall, and created a more open and natural flow from the kitchen to the living room.  An installed beam and recessed lighting finished the look.  Before photos on the left;  After on the right.  Note the dramatic difference between lamps on the counters and under-the-counter lighting.

The Medfield home below underwent extensive renovations.  The columned arch was added to open up the family room and living room, resulting in comfortable and elegant living space.  This enlarged opening was a weight bearing wall, so a reinforcing steel beam was added to the ceiling.  The arch is perfectly crafted, and the columns finish off the look.

The kitchen was completely remodeled using the client's custom design - DH Carpentry knocked out the wall between the family room and the kitchen and replaced it with a bar.  All the appliances, plumbing, cook-top and oven were replaced and relocated.  New cabinets, lighting, doors and window were installed.  The ceiling and walls were perfectly plastered, leaving the homeowner with a beautiful, functional, and comfortable new kitchen. 




The kitchen and dining room below were totally redone.  The first photo is before the remodeling. Notice the modified footprint, and the beautiful new details throughout. 


The homeowners below were suffering with a tiny(5'X8'), unattractive, and outdated master bathroom - you know - showering in a slippery, too-small tub with a slimy shower curtain and too-short shower head - yesterday's news.  The bathroom and adjoining (also too small) closet were gutted.  DH Carpentry designed and constructed a spacious (8'X11') new master bath - complete with a large tub, separate glassed shower, cherry vanity and closet, and gorgeous tiles.   Next, a dormer was added to the garage, and a huge walk-in closet (roomy enough for a large bureau and chair!) with custom shelves was constructed.  Scroll down to see these results - a luxurious new master bath and roomy master closet for the lucky homeowners.
